We went to the beach today.

I love her...just layin around at the beach and taking naps

We went to Clearwater Beach today. It was so nice out. Harley doesn't like the water at all, but she likes the beach (sounds just like me). We are going to a pool party on tuesday...maybe she will like the pool!!! HOPEFULLY!!!

Today so far...

I tried a new cookie recipe.

They are Reese's Chocolate Cookies

and they are delicious.

Here is the recipe

Devil's food (chocolate) cake mix

2 eggs

1/3 cup vegetable oil

Reese's PB cups (small size...not mini)

Mix cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil in a large bowl until mixed well. Take Reese's and fully cover them in the batter and place on greased baking sheet for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.

I hope that everyone like these tonight at our get together.

and yes there is one missing from this batch...I had to try them ok!!!

These rolls I made from scratch with yeast and any baker knows why I said yeast with pride because its hard to bake with yeast!!! But I did it and am very proud of them and I think that my Grandma would be too. They even tasted good too. Harley helped as well by sleeping through the baking process.

What is so funny?

This is why I wake up in the morning. I love her so much!!! I am pretty sure Harley is a happy baby. I know that I am a happy mama!!!

Big giant birds

The day that we moved to this house Klay said "Shauna, come and look at this!!!". There were these two birds just casually walking down the street in our subdivision. Well I found the two birds again and almost ran into them they were that close, but they just casually walked by me. I almost forgot that I had my camera with me otherwise I would have gotten a better picture. The birds were so big that Boog didn't even try to chase them!!!

Harley is a multitasker...like her Mama!!!

Harley is working on two things at once...a really good nap and stretching her neck muscles like the Physical Therapist said to do. I think that she got the multitasking from me instead of Klay (he is a single task kinda person). Her head is looking much better after we went to see a specialist (Dr. Ricalde) and that is where the physical therapist showed us how to stretch her muscles in her neck. This wasn't exactly how she showed us, but I think it is doing the trick.
